Polymaker PolySmooth PVB Filament 1.75mm 0.75kg Green - Print Like PLA Filament, Easy Smoothable Post Process with IPA Alcohol, Work with Polysher
$40.99
- ? Easy to Smooth with Alcohol: PolySmooth prints under similar conditions as PLA filament and can be easily smoothed by spraying IPA (99%) on the model. The IPA gently dissolves the outer layer of the print, resulting in a smooth, shiny finish. Say goodbye to layer lines!
- ? Tangle-Free & Moisture-Free: PolySmooth is carefully wound to prevent tangling, dried, and vacuum sealed in a resealable ziplock bag with desiccant. Always hold the filament tip to avoid nodes, and use the holes on the spool to help prevent tangling. PolySmooth absorbs moisture more easily than regular PLA, so it is recommended to use a dry box when working with it.
- ?️ Print Matte and Tough: PolySmooth is a worry-free smoothable 3D printer filament that experiences no warping, jamming, blobs, or layer delamination. It offers excellent bed adhesion, consistent color, and dimensional accuracy. To prevent moisture issues, PolySmooth should be used in a dry box, as it absorbs moisture more readily than regular PLA.
- ? Best Gift for Your 3D Printer: PolySmooth is a high-quality PVB 3D printing filament that your 3D printer will love. Polymaker's clear PVB filament makes the perfect gift for both you and your 3D printer.
- ⚙ Printing Settings: Nozzle: 200˚C; Bed: 50˚C; Speed: 60mm/s.

Polymaker PolySmooth PVB 3D Printer Filament - Polish Your Prints Easily with Alcohol
PolySmooth is a unique, easy-to-print filament designed for hands-free post-processing. Thanks to our patented Layer-Free Technology, it can be smoothed with alcohol to achieve layer free models using the Polysher. You may have some ceramics feel cool prints after polishing. Our PolySmooth has similar properties and printing settings as PLA, which can be widely used in printing decorations, anime characters, and so on. And the clear filament can be used to print some clearer parts than other materials and for investment casting as well.
Layer-Free Tech
Layer-Free technology involves exposing a 3D printed part to an aerosol of micro-sized alcohol droplets, generated by a rapidly vibrating, perforated membrane called the nebulizer. The aerosol will then be absorbed by the surface of the 3D printed part and render it smooth and layer-free.
Printing Setting:
Nozzle: 190Deg C - 220Deg C
Bed: 25Deg C - 70Deg C
Speed: 40~50 mm/s
Bed Surface: Glass with glue, Coral Red tape
Cooling Fan: ON
Note:
PolySmooth PVB is sensitive to moisture, and it is recommended to keep it in a dry box when using it and put it back in the resealable bag after use to minimize moisture absorption and to ensure the best printing performance.
2. Prints made with PolySmooth can be post-processed with Polysher which could help smooth better and quicker.
3. PolySmooth works well with commonly available build surfaces. To improve first layer adhesion, coat the build surface with a thin layer of PVA glue (using a glue stick), or heat the HBP (if equipped) up to 70 Deg C.
4. It's recommended to apply the IPA to the print made with PolySmooth as soon as possible, or the print may be damp and the print quality will be influenced.
