This is Brent’s Go-To-Fly as it seems to work good at any time of the year, any time of the day, and any type of water. This fly just plain catches fish. When the dead drift does not work, give the fly a slight twiching motion to entice strikes
If you are new to tenkara or fly fishing I highly recommend starting with this fly as you know it works everywhere anytime so you can have success fast while learning casting and presentation tactics.
