The cap features a 4" long extension on the bottom of the chimney cap which gets inserted INTO the inner pipe of the Air Cooled chimney pipe. Therefore, cap sizes are based on the most inner pipe diameter of the Air Cooled chimney pipe. 1” mesh screen. Manufactured with 304 stainless steel, this cap is sure to never rust. The WeatherShield TDW chimney cap assures a secure, wind-resistant fit, all without affecting the convection cooling features of your air-cooled chimney pipe.
