Cast Steel Grit Blasting Media by Blastline USA, Grit Size: G-40; Approximate Size: 0.017" (Screen Mesh Size: 40). Virgin Grade. G-40 Grit produces a Medium Etched Finish. All material is screened to meet or exceed SAE and SFS specifications. Exceeding the life of aluminium oxide, glass beads, mineral abrasives, garnet or slag by nearly 1000 to 1, Cast Steel Grit can significantly reduce your raw material and disposal costs. Cast Steel Grit is non-hazardous and contaminant free as received. During use it produces no free silica or associated respiratory and environmental hazards. Any metal dust created during use is insignificant, allowing for a virtually dust-free blasting environment.
