This professional, 1100 c (2012 f) top-loaded electric Vitrigraph kiln with a 32-segment programmable temperature/time controller and 10 l spacious chamber was especially designed to create stringers, that is pretty much what is sounds like “strings” of glass that are used to create many designs in art glass. In the kiln, the glass pieces are being slowly melted (up to 9 hours) at about 1030-1050 c (1900 f). Once melted, it will pull through a small hole in the bottom of the kiln and its stand and cools as soon as it being pull. With this professional kiln you will be able to create the “stringers” that will be twisted, flat or bent in any form with any thickness before it completely hardens. You can use for this process any type of glass, include scrap. This kiln has a 32-segments (temperature-time steps) programmable controller with digital, over/low-temperature regulation secure system (for holding same temperature during the whole soaking process) and a smoothing circuit digital guard for accurate reading and stability work on fluctuations of electricity that is very important option for most materials such as glass, ceramic, glazing and pottery. ***Before placing the order, please make sure that the inner dimensions of the clay pot match your requirements.
