This is a two piece mail slot. The front exterior piece screws to the exterior of the door and the interior piece attaches to the interior of the door. The exterior mail flap is spring-loaded which means when it's opened it will snap closed when you let go, the interior flap is not. Mail slots are easily installed directly into front doors allowing the mail to find its way home. A premium lifetime steel finish that will stand up to the harshest climates.
